The Mind Vacation series provides a little break from work, a quick trip someplace different you can return from feeling refreshed.


In Vilnius, Lithuania, an art studio, clinic212, started thinking about the area’s population of animals. Small ones in particular. They developed the #tinyroadsign project to remind people that they’re not the only inhabitants of Vilnius.

So they got to work making and signs and hammering them into the ground …

Laying down a crosswalk where needed …

And voilá — or “štai,” as they say in Vilnius — you get this:

Aw.

Here are some of the other signs they put up, along with the lovable “folks” they celebrate.

Okay, back up. We all know what it’s like to herd cats. How did they get those kitties to cooperate? Ah, bribery.
