Funny how email is like its own separate world. Some of the stuff we do there would make zero sense anywhere. Not to mention those little email oopsies that wouldn’t be so little if they happened face-to-face.

From Tripp and Tyler, the folks who brought you the hilarious “A Conference Call in Real Life,” comes this video that imagines what it would be life if things we do all the time in email happened in the real world (imagine the havoc it would wreak on employee engagement).
Tip: The incoming-message sounds you hear while you watch are on the video. Don’t freak — it’s not real email coming in.

Okay, so some of these things are even more embarrassing when they do happen in email. Like responding to All instead of Sender. Ouch, especially when it’s something you’d rather not “share with the class.” Or missing a deadline because an attachment’s too big. Oof. How about forgetting to turn off you auto-reply? Are you back or aren’t you?
